Ok ok, I know that it’s actually Sunday and I’m sort of cheating … but I feel awful that I haven’t participated in AGES so I thought that I’d do this one early because I am working all day tomorrow and know I’ll be to tired then. Oh how I’ve missed this!!
1. The Misanthtropic: Name something (about humanity) you absolutely hate.
I hate those people who feel that they are superior to me because I am serving them in some way. I work at a clothing shop and there are some women who come in and treat me as though I am much lower in the universe than they are. Although I do not think that working your entire career in retail is a bad thing, I am only 22 years old and am planning on finishing my degree so retail is not where I am going to be in a few years time. It’s a job and it gets me by for the time being.
2. The Meretricious: Expose something or someone that’s phony, fraudulent or bogus.
Working in Manchester city center has it’s perks … especially when I get to see celebrities!! Last week I saw Jodie Marsh. She’s one of those people that have no idea why they are famous at all because they don’t actually DO anything. I guess she’s sort of a softcore model/porn star over here and her most recent “work” was a television show where she had men audition to marry her. I have no idea if she did marry this guy or not, mostly because I don’t really care … but it makes me think she’s really really desperate for attention. Anyway, when I saw her I don’t know if I could point out one inch of her that was real.
3. The Malcontent: Name something you’re unhappy with.
I am unhappy with having to work my butt off all the time for very little pay. I am also unhappy that I am unable to monetize my WordPress blogs :’( I do plan on paying for some web space at the end of the month so then I will be able to do with then what I wish muahahahaha!!
4. The Meritorious: Give someone credit for something and name it if you can.
I give credit to all those people who have fallen on hard financial times and were able to plow through it and eventually see the other side. I hear that there is an “other side” … people say that I’ll see it some day!! At the moment it looks like a long way off but I’ve had many people tell me how they pushed through the difficulties so kudos to them and it shows that I will eventually get there too.
5. The Mirror: See something good about yourself and name it.
I do not give things up easily. When L33tz0r and I hit a rough patch and were going to part ways, I hung on and it paid off. Now I’m in a bit of a financial pickle and I’m not giving up, I’m working my little buns off and I am starting to see things turning around. Just gotta hang on a little longer and we’ll be back on track!!
6. The Make-Believe: Name something you wish for.
I wish for an endless supply of chocolate. Yummmmmmmmmmmmm.
Still Alive!! September 9, 2007

Don’t worry!! I’m still alive and I haven’t forgotten about you!! I’ve been quite busy lately working all the time that I’ve hardly been on the computer at all … which is SO unlike me!! Now that I’ve gotten used to working every day of my life I am slowly finding the energy to get back to my blogging and blog surfing. Oh how I’ve missed it!!
I have a new blog on the go about Neopets. Well really it’s a sort of Neo help site but it’s been a good way for me to get back into the swing of blogging again by giving me something to write about. Since I left WoW I haven’t really had much to say *gasp*!
I’ve been trying to fill the gap in my life left by WoW with another game but to be completely honest, nothing really compares. I am currently on Day 2 of my free 14 day trial of Ultima Online and I am not really all that impressed by it. I HATE the camera angle and frequently try to scroll my mouse to change the view but alas, no luck. The game is over 10 years old so in that respect, it’s not horrible. I do like the ideas and everything behind it and as the original MMORPG, it really has alot of potential to drag me in if I can get past the things I don’t like. However, once my 14 day trial is up I really don’t think it would be worth my money to pay for it. Not with the current issues I have with it.
L33tz0r and I have both signed up for the Beta of Warhammer Online. It’s highly doubtful that we’ll both get it (or even one of us for that matter) but hey, might as well try. The release date isn’t until January and last night we were watching some of the videos for it on YouTube and discussing how much money we need to make by then to both have sparkly, new gaming PC’s. I am kind of partial to my laptop though, so I was thinking of a gaming laptop but L33tz0r explained that since there’s not alot of room for a cooling system you would never be able to have as powerful a system as you could with a desktop so there goes that idea. Another problem is that we’ll be moving to Canada next summer so that would be 2 PC’s we’d have to get over the ocean somehow. *Sigh*
Does anyone have any other good MMO’s they really like that they could recommend? I’d love to have a look at some others!

True to GirlieGeek form, L33tz0r and I have purchased a Playstation 3. Mind you, the decision to buy this ridiculously expensive console was not really thought out because it has since left us very very poor!! Oh well, at least we have something to do since we can’t go out anywhere that requires money. My days off have been spent doing laundry and playing Final Fantasy XII (very very awesome by the way). I only get 2 days off a week so I like to spend them doing as little as possible with slim to no productivity haha!
Since my arrival in England I haven’t had a mobile phone so I am currently shopping around for one of those. And when I say “shopping around” I actually mean just looking because I don’t get paid until the 31st of August so until then I can’t actually buy anything at all. I’m not looking for anything particularly fancy, but a few extra features might be nice. Oh and I want it to look pretty too
I have a new obsession which involves spending countless hours searching eBay for things that I want even though I can’t get anything just yet. I am also thinking of going through some of my things to see what I can part with. If I don’t use it I might as well get some money for it.
I am also still on the hunt for a domain host. I had been accepted for PayPerPost ages ago but due to WordPress terms and conditions I am unable to do paid posts here. Don’t worry though, I do not intend to sell out. Just a paid post here and there is my plan. We’ll see how that goes anyway. I started another blog some time ago solely for money making purposes but it’s been a long time since I’ve even looked at it so I’m not sure if there has even been any activity on it. We’ll see ![]()

I haven’t posted in a while because I’ve had a rather busy streak this past week. I am now back in Manchester, England with L33tz0r and quite happy to be here so far. It may come back to bite me in the ass but for now things are going well. We are living in a different area of the city now and actually have a double bed instead of a university single bed this time so that in itself makes me much happier haha!!
In WoW news, I am coming to a point I never thought that I would see. I am having thoughts of leaving the game. Going from pwning Karazhan to struggling on Midnight with a new guild is a little demoralizing and frustrating and L33tz0r doesn’t think he’ll be playing anymore so I may do the same. Although I would like to play just casually I think because I so still enjoy the game. My best friend at home just got the game and plays on the American servers (I’m on the European ones) so I may see how to switch over and play with him. If anyone knows how to go about doing this an information would be appreciated. I’ll keep you posted.
Excited and Scared!! July 22, 2007

So I just went out and bought Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows today … along with about a trillion other people and although I am very excited to get reading it I am also a little scared as well. When I read the last book I cried when Dumbledore died … and when I say cry I mean tears streaming and sobbing involved. Apparently there is another important death in this final Harry Potter book which makes me a little reluctant to even open it. Do I want it to end this way? I was in shock at the end of the last book, do I want to feel the same way this time?
On the other hand I have faith that J.K. Rowling would have ended things well. After all, I’m sure she takes great pride in these incredibly successful pieces of work so she wouldn’t just make some random awful ending to make us all hate her haha! I wonder if anyone else has the same sort of feelings I do. I’ve had the book sitting here beside me all day and I want to just dive in but I’m a little afraid of what I’ll find out. I think I may jump in bed and start reading since my curiosity is starting to get the best of me!! I’ll let you know how it goes!

Late night thoughts July 20, 2007

The up side to having trouble sleeping is that I get to watch alot of tv haha!! Lately it’s just been all of the random reality shows about those poor rich kids living in the southern states but tonight I was channel surfing and came across Larry King who had Tammy Faye on his show (I think it was a repeat from the other night). My goodness if it hadn’t said her name right there on the screen I might not have recognized her. I knew from my daily dose of Perez that Tammy Faye has cancer and has been very ill for a long time. I think that what I found most shocking was her incredible faith and trust in God. Makes me wish that I were more faithful than I am. While I do believe in God, I do not believe so much in organized religion. Anyway, before this turns into a post about my religious views, I’ll just say that I think Tammy Faye is such an incredible person and I hope that when my time comes I will be as graceful and as brave as she is. What a wonderful woman.
In geeky news, a few days ago I merged my guild with another small guild in the hopes to keep things alive and to keep the members that I have left. Although it’s only been a few days, things seem to be looking ok which I am happy about although I wish that I could have kept things together for L33tz0r. I have such a new and great appreciation for all of the work he puts into the guild in order to keep it functioning effectively and keep everyone happy.
I will be moving back to England in less than a week’s time and I hope that once I get settled back in I’ll be in a better state of mind and I’ll be back to posting pretty much every day
I am very much looking forward to completing my Karazhan boss tactics and I have a few side blogging projects which are unrelated to this blog. I have made a 2nd money making blog using a different blog host as a sort of comparison to see where I make more money and which site gives me the best options. I’ll keep you posted ![]()

So I was just searching around this afternoon and I came across something I had been interested in months ago. For all of you “blogging for money” types out there I’m certain that you would have heard of this at some point.
Agloco is a program which enables you to make money by referring members to the network but also just by being online and searching the internet. I have yet to refer anyone
so I couldn’t tell you how much you get per referral and I just installed the Viewbar today to keep track of the time I spend on the net and my searches. I’m not sure when the Viewbar became available because it was expected in April but there were some setbacks. Anyway I’ve been able to get it now so I gather that it’s all ready.
Please visit Agloco and sign up today … you’ll also be giving me a referral so thanks ![]()

1. The Misanthtropic: Name something (about humanity) you absolutely hate.
There are lots of people out there who like to put people down and like to see others fail. Is this because they are jealous that they never even took the chance to fail? I don’t think being a bitter person would be a nice way to live.
2. The Meretricious: Expose something or someone that’s phony, fraudulent or bogus.
The belief that money can buy you happiness. Well, I mean it certainly can help but I would think that even the richest people in the world could be unhappy.
3. The Malcontent: Name something you’re unhappy with.
For some reason my skin has been looking awful lately. It has been pale, blotchy, with a few zits here and there. What’s up with that? A friend thinks it’s due to improper diet because when I get unhappy or stressed I don’t eat. Not on purpose … I just don’t have an appetite when I’m stressed. I think he’s right.
4. The Meritorious: Give someone credit for something and name it if you can.
I give credit to my aunt for pulling through a rough first few weeks with her first child and now settling into a functioning routine of mommyhood.
5. The Mirror: See something good about yourself and name it.
I’m pretty creative when it comes to design and things. When my family moved into our current house my parents basically said I could do with my bedroom whatever I’d like. It looks pretty friggin cool!
6. The Make-Believe: Name something you wish for.
I wish for some peace of mind that I am doing the right things.
