It’s been a while since I’ve done one of these!! Glad I thought about it today … even though it’s after midnight!

1. The Misanthtropic: Name something about humanity you absolutely hate.

People who think that being reliable is not an important quality to possess. If you’re not going to do it, don’t tell me you will. If you say you’ll be there at 9am, don’t stroll in wondering what my problem is at lunch time. If you can’t make a promise, DON’T!

2. The Meretricious: Expose something or someone that’s phony, fraudulent or bogus.

I’ve got to agree with Fracas on this one, this whole splogging/ blog scraper thing is really getting to me and grinding my nerves. I’ve had one incident with it so far and as you might imagine, I’m not pleased. I’d actually go as far as saying that I feel slightly used and cheated.

3. The Malcontent: Name something you’re unhappy with.

There are people in this world who never have and never will work for a penny in their lives. Myself, and SO many others will work 40-50 hours a week on low pay and barely scrape by enough to pay the rent and get some groceries while there are some who live in luxury because of the work of others. How unfair is that?

4. The Meritorious: Give someone credit for something and name it if you can.

I give credit to all those people who slave away for next to nothing, and keep a smile on their face the whole time and not complain but enjoy the live they were given. There are some people who are always able to make the very best of what they have and are able to live beautiful and happy lives where some would complain and moan in the same situation.

5. The Mirror: See something good about yourself and name it.

I’ve always had a problem with admitting (and even seeing) when I am wrong or when I’m not acting very fair towards people. I am now constantly making a conscious effort to see things outside of my emotions. Stepping away from the situation for just one second before acting or speaking can make a huge difference in a relationship and I’m very proud of myself for taking the steps to make myself a better communicator.

6. The Make-Believe: Name something you wish for.

I wish that it was easier for me to hop on a plane and see my sister and the rest of my family. I miss them more than they’ll ever know and it’s very hard sometimes to be so far away.

Now it’s your turn.

Feel free to participate every Monday!! Visit The Monday Melee page to find out how.

Ok ok, I know that it’s actually Sunday and I’m sort of cheating … but I feel awful that I haven’t participated in AGES so I thought that I’d do this one early because I am working all day tomorrow and know I’ll be to tired then. Oh how I’ve missed this!!

1. The Misanthtropic: Name something (about humanity) you absolutely hate.

I hate those people who feel that they are superior to me because I am serving them in some way. I work at a clothing shop and there are some women who come in and treat me as though I am much lower in the universe than they are. Although I do not think that working your entire career in retail is a bad thing, I am only 22 years old and am planning on finishing my degree so retail is not where I am going to be in a few years time. It’s a job and it gets me by for the time being.

2. The Meretricious: Expose something or someone that’s phony, fraudulent or bogus.

Working in Manchester city center has it’s perks … especially when I get to see celebrities!! Last week I saw Jodie Marsh. She’s one of those people that have no idea why they are famous at all because they don’t actually DO anything. I guess she’s sort of a softcore model/porn star over here and her most recent “work” was a television show where she had men audition to marry her. I have no idea if she did marry this guy or not, mostly because I don’t really care … but it makes me think she’s really really desperate for attention. Anyway, when I saw her I don’t know if I could point out one inch of her that was real.

3. The Malcontent: Name something you’re unhappy with.

I am unhappy with having to work my butt off all the time for very little pay. I am also unhappy that I am unable to monetize my WordPress blogs :’( I do plan on paying for some web space at the end of the month so then I will be able to do with then what I wish muahahahaha!!

4. The Meritorious: Give someone credit for something and name it if you can.

I give credit to all those people who have fallen on hard financial times and were able to plow through it and eventually see the other side. I hear that there is an “other side” … people say that I’ll see it some day!! At the moment it looks like a long way off but I’ve had many people tell me how they pushed through the difficulties so kudos to them and it shows that I will eventually get there too.

5. The Mirror: See something good about yourself and name it.

I do not give things up easily. When L33tz0r and I hit a rough patch and were going to part ways, I hung on and it paid off. Now I’m in a bit of a financial pickle and I’m not giving up, I’m working my little buns off and I am starting to see things turning around. Just gotta hang on a little longer and we’ll be back on track!!

6. The Make-Believe: Name something you wish for.

I wish for an endless supply of chocolate. Yummmmmmmmmmmmm.

1. The Misanthtropic: Name something (about humanity) you absolutely hate.

There are lots of people out there who like to put people down and like to see others fail. Is this because they are jealous that they never even took the chance to fail? I don’t think being a bitter person would be a nice way to live.

2. The Meretricious: Expose something or someone that’s phony, fraudulent or bogus.

The belief that money can buy you happiness. Well, I mean it certainly can help but I would think that even the richest people in the world could be unhappy.

3. The Malcontent: Name something you’re unhappy with.

For some reason my skin has been looking awful lately. It has been pale, blotchy, with a few zits here and there. What’s up with that? A friend thinks it’s due to improper diet because when I get unhappy or stressed I don’t eat. Not on purpose … I just don’t have an appetite when I’m stressed. I think he’s right.

4. The Meritorious: Give someone credit for something and name it if you can.

I give credit to my aunt for pulling through a rough first few weeks with her first child and now settling into a functioning routine of mommyhood.

5. The Mirror: See something good about yourself and name it.

I’m pretty creative when it comes to design and things. When my family moved into our current house my parents basically said I could do with my bedroom whatever I’d like. It looks pretty friggin cool!

6. The Make-Believe: Name something you wish for.

I wish for some peace of mind that I am doing the right things.

1. The Misanthtropic: Name something (about humanity) you absolutely hate.

I hate people who refuse to show understanding and empathy. Sometimes people have problems that aren’t necessarily something that they can control. Let’s take depression for example. Depression is a legitimate disease. A person cannot help feelings of depression. It drives me absolutely crazy when people cannot understand that depression or some such issue is a valid reason for a person to need a break or at least show some empathy and try to understand.  Not everyone deals with things in the same ways people!!

2. The Meretricious: Expose something or someone that’s phony, fraudulent or bogus.

My hair colour. I admit it. I do not actually have purple hair.

3. The Malcontent: Name something you’re unhappy with.

Being nagged. I do understand that I am living under someone else’s roof, however after living away for so long it’s very difficult to come back and be nagged at all the time. Yes I heard you the first time. And yes I will do as you ask. Get off my back.

4. The Meritorious: Give someone credit for something and name it if you can.

My little sister graduated from high school on Friday. You did it Kate!! I’m so proud of you :D

5. The Mirror: See something good about yourself and name it.

So far this summer I am getting a pretty sweet tan!! I know, I know … I will have leathery skin in 30 years, but I look good NOW!! In 30 years I doubt that my skin will be my only concern.

6. The Make-Believe: Name something you wish for.

I really wish for a break. Things haven’t been going well lately … a little boost would be wonderful!!

People who constantly change their minds about things. Make a decision and stick to it dammit!! Like poor Paris Hilton (HA!), good for her that she actually showed up to go to jail because honestly I figured she’d hire an amazing lawyer to find some loophole … anyway … they decided to let her out of jail to serve her sentence as house arrest then the next days they turned around and brought her back in because they didn’t fill out the proper paperwork or there was some medical issue or something. Although I think that she should have to stay there just like any normal person would have to, I do find it a little unfair that they would turn around and put her back in again. It was their mistake to let her out and get her hopes up in the first place. But what I really think happened is there was a backlash of people saying that the only reason she was let out is because of who she is so the sherriff’s department said “Oops changed my mind to appease the people ..” and brought her back to jail. I’m not entirely sure why I even care enough to write this much about it …

2. The Meretricious: Expose something or someone that’s phony, fraudulent or bogus.

I had heard that World Vision is kind of a crock but I’m not sure if it’s true or not. Someone should investigate this!! I don’t mean that the money you donate doesn’t help people … because I’m sure it does, but maybe more indirectly than they let on.

3. The Malcontent: Name something you’re unhappy with.

I’m unhappy that I am stuck here at home when my heart is back in England.

4. The Meritorious: Give someone credit for something and name it if you can.

Last year my aunt had some health problems which everyone thought would crush her chances of ever having children. So imagine the surprise to find out that she was pregnant!! Last night we got a call from my Grampy telling us that my aunt was in labour and they would be performing a C-section in an hour :D So an hour later little Jack Robert Wilson was born!! I’m so happy for my aunt who suffered through health probs but still remained hopeful and had it pay off in the end. I can’t wait to see the little guy tonight!

5. The Mirror: See something good about yourself and name it.

Well not to be conceited or anything … but I am pretty cute! Haha!

6. The Make-Believe: Name something you wish for.

I wish for a bunch of money so I can pay off all of my debts and go back to England!!

1. The Misanthtropic: Name something (about humanity) you absolutely hate.

I just heard from Perez that Lindsay Lohan got charged with a DUI among other things. Why on earth would you be such a screw up when your life is so promising? I don’t get it.

2. The Meretricious: Expose something or someone that’s phony, fraudulent or bogus.

Homeless people that ask for money to buy food. Yeah right … they’re just gonna go buy booze or drugs with my money. Don’t beg for my money to support your filthy habit! I have such a lovely outlook on humanity haha!!

3. The Malcontent: Name something you’re unhappy with.

I have to go back to Canada for the summer on Thursday :( I don’t wanna!!

4. The Meritorious: Give someone credit for something and name it if you can.

I am giving myself credit today for putting on a brave face and pretending I’m gonna be ok when I go home. Because I know very well I’ll just end up crying myself to sleep and pretending to be happy.

5. The Mirror: See something good about yourself and name it.

I am loyal to my friends and family even when it makes me unhappy. Wait … that’s not always good haha!!

6. The Make-Believe: Name something you wish for.

I wish that the summer will go by summer quick so I can get back to England!!

1. The Misanthtropic: Name something (about humanity) you absolutely hate.

Now I’m not always the most patient little rabbit but when it comes time for me to wait for someone or something I try to do so without complaint. It bothers me when people demand for “now”! When talking to a particular friend online (while I am also reading, searching, talking to other people, etc) it drives me up the wall when they ask me a question and when I don’t answer within 5 seconds there’s “????” and then after another 10 seconds it’s “why aren’t you answering?”. Bahh give me a minute to think or pick my nose or something!!

2. The Meretricious: Expose something or someone that’s phony, fraudulent or bogus.

Those people who, when you see/speak to them after a long period of not seeing them say “Oh we’ll have to get together soon … can’t wait … insert fake sounding comment here.” Do people do this just to be polite? If I don’t intend on trying to make a date with this person I just say “Was nice to talk to you again.” Or something like that.

3. The Malcontent: Name something you’re unhappy with.

People always asking me when I’m going to be back in Canada!! I don’t wanna come home!! Give me time!!

4. The Meritorious: Give someone credit for something and name it if you can.

Today is my daddy’s birthday and I have to give him credit (I know I already have but he’s 50 today!!) for not freaking out at me and trying (although not all that hard) to listen to me when we were discussing my plans to go back home to Canada for the summer.

5. The Mirror: See something good about yourself and name it.

I don’t mean to boast or anything but I have a way of cheering people up :D Even if I don’t always see the sunny side of things myself I put on a brave face and try my very best to reassure the person I am with. I like for the people around me to be happy and I’ll do my best to make that happen and I think that’s a pretty good quality to have.

6. The Make-Believe: Name something you wish for.

I wish for 2 brand spanking new Alienware PC’s for L33tz0r and myself!!

1. The Misanthtropic: Name something (about humanity) you absolutely hate.

I hate the people who must get in front of everyone else while waiting for the train so they can jump on before the people exiting have even finished getting off. Or the people who push their way to the door of the train to get out first even though everyone else is getting off as well. What makes them think that I don’t want to get off/get on the train any less than they do?

2. The Meretricious: Expose something or someone that’s phony, fraudulent or bogus.

I came across a website the other day that had pictures of celebrities with and without makeup. Wow what a difference it was! Some of them are so airbrushed for the cover of Cosmo it almost looks like a different person. The only person who looks very much the same in both with and without makeup pictures is Jessica Simpson who is naturally very beautiful and either doesn’t wear alot of makeup or wears very natural makeup.

3. The Malcontent: Name something you’re unhappy with.

I’ve been feeling a little nauseous these past few days and I’m not sure why. It hasn’t kept me from doing anything and I haven’t actually been physically sick but I would prefer to feel better. I think it could be because I am overtired from my busy weekend and just need to catch up on some rest.

4. The Meritorious: Give someone credit for something and name it if you can.

My boyfriend’s family just bought a little traditional English pub in rural England where they live and we travelled there for the opening this weekend. There was such alot of work to do and we all helped as much as we could to make the opening night a success. They worked so hard all day on Friday and it seemed at times things would never get finished but it all came together in the end and everyone had a great time.

5. The Mirror: See something good about yourself and name it.

I care very much about my friends and family and would do anything for them.

6. The Make-Believe: Name something you wish for.

I wish that my idiot roommates would stop having parties until 5am all the time. It would be nice as well if they could stop breaking windows and the toilets every time as well. Oh yeah … and they could probably clean up after themselves … that would be nice too.

An unwillingness to forgive simple mistakes. Sometimes people make mistakes. Stupid mistakes. How is it so hard for some people to not see that and forgive? Holding a grudge against someone isn’t nice or healthy for either party.

2. The Meretricious: Expose something or someone that’s phony, fraudulent or bogus.

100% money back guarantees … generally they are not.

3. The Malcontent: Name something you’re unhappy with.

I came to England in November hoping to accomplish something, make some money and so on. I am much happier now than I was, I did get one fabulous job and make a tiny bit of cash, however I still feel as though I’ve done a whole lot of nothing so far. I’ve got 2 more months until I have to return to Canada for the summer and a job interview in 2 days … let’s see what I can do.

4. The Meritorious: Give someone credit for something and name it if you can.

L33tz0r has work very hard on all aspects of the guild so far. Recruitment, raid leading, website and so much more. Good job doll face!

5. The Mirror: See something good about yourself and name it.

I’m quite a good and creative cook when I want to be. It’s all down to time and whether or not I can be bothered to do it haha! But when I do have a desire to make something good, it always turns out better than I expected.

6. The Make-Believe: Name something you wish for.

I wish that I would get the job on Wednesday so that I’ll have some money to pay the bills!!

I have had a busy few days so this one is late but I wanted to post it anyway.

1. The Misanthtropic: Name something (about humanity) you absolutely hate.

I hate very selfish people. Didn’t their mothers ever teach them about sharing? I think some people missed out on that all important life lesson.

2. The Meretricious: Expose something or someone that’s phoney, fraudulent or bogus.

Paula Abdul and the fact that she said she has never been under the influence of anything. I’ve seen the videos anf I beg to differ.

3. The Malcontent: Name something you’re unhappy with.

The first birth control pill of a new pack always makes me really sick. I take my pill before bed everynight so when I take the first one of a new pack I feel like death the next day. Today is that day haha!

4. The Meritorious: Give someone credit for something and name it if you can.

Whoever it was that created Pepto Bismol is my saviour. Of course I know the catchy little jingle from the commercial by heart … and I regularly sing it too my English boyfriend whenever he’s feeling sick to tell him what Pepto is good for. I had my family mail me Pepto the entire time I was studying in Denmark and they have already had to send some to me in England. I don’t know that I’ve found anything as good or if I could live without it. I prefer either the liquid or chewable varieties because I love the taste but when I need it the swallowable pills do the trick as well … just without the yumminess!

5. The Mirror: See something good about yourself and name it.

I’m a very good shopper. As a general rule I don’t buy anything that isn’t on sale. Of course there’s always an acception for a really cute pair of shoes but when it comes to grocery shopping I always end up with alot of food without having spent alot of cash. A tip for people like me who stop by the grocery store on a regualr basis … make good use of the Reduced section. I always check there to see if there’s anything good and that’s what we have for dinner that night. Alot of times there are vegetables and meat with that day as the “sell by” date even though it won’t actually expire for a few days. Sometimes it’s 2 days worth of meals for at least half the price.

6. The Make-Believe: Name something you wish for.

I really would like to win the lottery. Better yet, I’d like to win money without actually having to buy something first. Or just getting a job within the next few days would be good haha!
