As you might have noticed I have been a little absent the last few days. I have been going through a rough patch in my personal life which has pushed other things in my life to the side a bit. Today when I came on to have a mooch at everyone else’s blogs I got a very nice, flattering, mood boosting, and day brightening surprise!! I have been given my first award and I am as happy as a pig in poop :D!! Thank you so much sylvied for deeming me worthy of this lovely award!!

So I was just searching around this afternoon and I came across something I had been interested in months ago. For all of you “blogging for money” types out there I’m certain that you would have heard of this at some point.

Agloco is a program which enables you to make money by referring members to the network but also just by being online and searching the internet. I have yet to refer anyone so I couldn’t tell you how much you get per referral and I just installed the Viewbar today to keep track of the time I spend on the net and my searches. I’m not sure when the Viewbar became available because it was expected in April but there were some setbacks. Anyway I’ve been able to get it now so I gather that it’s all ready.

As I had mentioned before, I recently upgraded my account to accommodate custom CSS coding. I’ve played around with a few things and I’ve googled “custom css wordpress codes” and other variations of the same but I have been unsuccessful in finding anything to help other that themes I can download which I would need my own host other than WordPress even to use. All of the other things I’ve found are CSS help pages. So I’ve come to the conclusion that I might as well just make my own custom skin using Sandbox which seems to be my easiest only choice. So for now this layout will stay the same while I tinker around trying to learn some CSS on another blog to make a skin that I am happy with. We’ll see how it goes anyway.

On the agenda today is finishing up the Moroes tactics page and perhaps starting on Maiden but I don’t know if I am feeling that ambitious yet hehe!

1. I have been colouring my hair since I was 13 years old. I’m pretty sure it’s naturally some shade of brown but I haven’t actually seen it since 1998.

2. I have a crazy obsession with Scooby Doo. I own all episodes and movies on DVD (some still on VHS haha), over 10 Scooby stuffed animals, the whole gang in Barbie doll form, clothing, jewelery,etc. Heck even my belly button ring and ring tone are Scooby Doo!!

3. I was born in Grand Bay, New Brunswick in Canada but I have also lived in Aarhus, Denmark and Manchester, England.

4. I am 22 years old and was born on May 20th, 1985 at 2:24am.

5. I am currently in my last semester of my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in English Literature but I’d really like to do something in computers (something online like blog for a living haha) or interior design.

6. I have lots of books about Princess Diana who has been my idol since I was little. I kept a scrapbook of all the newspaper clippings and magazine articles about her before, and since her death. I’d love to marry one of her sons so if any of you can hook me up please do

7. I have 2 black and white cats named Molly and Lola.

8. I used to love acting in high school and would still do it now if I could. I was in my school’s productions of Annie Get Your Gun, The Secret Garden and my first leading role was as Beth in The Best Christmas Pageant Ever.

9. I used to play hockey and miss it ALOT!! I was the captain of my team the last 2 years that I played.

Woot!! I have just hit my first major blogging milestone!! I was so happy today to look at my site counter and see my 1000th hit on my site!! I know, I know … alot of people get 1000 hits per day … let me basque in my own glory! Thank you, thank you, thank you for coming to check things out and if you’re a repeat visitor thanks even more! I am a happy little bunny today

Now down to the serious stuff. I have been thinking for a while that GirlieGeek needs a little bit of a facelift. Since I cannot afford to actually pay to upgrade my blog, I am left with the WordPress themes (which are lovely, don’t get me wrong). Like this theme, I have the opportunity to personalize it a bit which is wonderful. So I’m going to be testing out some themes to give GirlieGeek a new look. Please feel free to let me know what you think!

Also, I have been noticing while looking at my blog stats that many of the people being directed to my blog are searching for Karazhan tactics. Up to this point I have not included any in my posts, however to please the readership I intend to supply some sexy Kara tactics for all of your sexy Kara needs. I will begin later today and start with Midnight and work my way up doing a separate post for each boss for ease of searchability. Hope the posts will be helpful to some people

I’m not usually one for asking for money … so that’s why I really don’t want to do that now. However I am going to invite you to head on over to my “blogging for cash” blog to give me a little boost. Money is tight and I desperately need to get back to England ASAP so I’m trying to be a little creative in how I’m going to raise this money so I can patch things up a little.

So I’m thinking that GirlieGeek needs a facelift. Well I wasn’t thinking GirlieGeek herself … although a new hair cut might be nice … oh and bigger boobs … but I don’t ask for much. So anyway, I’ve been searching for free WordPress themes the past few days, found a few I like and am still on the hunt for more. I’m sure it would take alot of coding and effort to make my own so I’ll stay away from that one for now.

Does anyone know of any good free WordPress theme sites? And I cannot express the word “free” more haha!!

Check out the new addition to my Blogroll. It has been listed as one of the fastest growing blogs and I can certainly see why. My stomach muscles are sore and I have mascara all down my face because I was laughing so hard!! I don’t know that you’d find it as funny as I did if you don’t have/like cats because although L33tz0r did laugh at some, he didn’t find it all as funny as I did. It’s a must see anyway!!
