What the hell is a splog?! Yeah that’s what I was asking myself earlier when reading this post by Fracas. She explains it much better but in a nutshell a “splog” is a blog that takes content from the blogs of other people and uses it as content on it’s own. These people clearly aren’t clever enough to write their own posts so they resort to stealing work from other people and it’s NOT ok.

Please be aware that these splogs are out there and ensure that your content remains your own.

Dangerous things happen when I have free time and am poking around on Ebay. You can find just about anything on Ebay … and I mean anything! I find things that my bank balance doesn’t particularly appreciate … or my boyfriend really … but in fairness I also sell things so I think we can call it even (almost).

My most recent purchase? A set of 24 Nail Polish Pens. One end is a normal brush and the other end is a nail polish pen! How cool is that?? The idea was put into my head by a girl at work who always has nicely painted finger nails with little flowers or designs on them. When I asked her if she used a tooth pick to make the little flowers and things like I used to do she said that she had these tubes of polish with pen tips. So of course my immediate thoughts were along the lines of “I MUST have some of those!!” Don’t judge.

My Ebay addiction is not purely selfish. I recently bought L33tz0r “The Blues Brothers” on DVD for his birthday. I would have just gone to a store and bought it however you wouldn’t believe how difficult it is to find!! I looked everywhere!! I even asked at Blockbuster since they had copies to rent but they didn’t have any to sell. Ebay saved the day!!

I think it’s pretty safe to say that I’ll be spending the rest of the night looking up weird and random things on Ebay tonight … and fighting the urge to buy them.

I am finally getting out of the hellhole that is my current job!! YAY!! I couldn’t stand it any longer so I finally gave my notice a few days ago and I’ve already got another job opportunity. I’m a very happy girl! Tonight I am going to the work Christmas party since I’ve already paid for the meal and then I’m thinking that I’ll just end things after that. I’m supposed to be working another week but the new job is looking for an immediate start and I really just want to be finished. Is that really horrible of me?

I got paid yesterday so today I’m paying bills and doing some Christmas shopping to get it all out of the way. I figure I might as well do it now while the money is there and I have a bit of happiness motivation I’ll have more time off now so you should expect to see me kicking around more often which I am excited about.
