I’m feeling a little blah today so I’m being a little slow. Hopefully there will be enough people online in 30 minutes time for our guild to have a raid. In which case I will be preoccupied for a few hours but when I’m done I’m planning on writing the Moroes tactics and posting them and doing a little blog surfing and perhaps I’ll tell you a fun story if the mood strikes me hehe!

In some interesting news, I am signed up for all kinds of online paid survey places but I have never actually made enough from any of them for a payout. Well today has changed that!! I just got an email to see if I qualified for a survey which pays 50 big ones. So of course I never expected to qualify but *gasp* I did!! So I finished the survey and went to see if I could request a payment and it turns out I have referred 2 people who actually signed up earning me another $10 and I had done a survey months ago for $5 … so apparently I should expect a cheque in the mail for $65 within 4-6 weeks. I’ll keep you posted!!

Anyway, of to WoW for some Karazhan pwning fun

Thanks very much Kendall for tagging me over at Splice Here! So here we go, here are 8 things about me you probably never knew … or wanted to haha!!

1. I have been colouring my hair since I was 13 years old. I’m pretty sure it’s naturally some shade of brown but I haven’t actually seen it since 1998.

2. I have a crazy obsession with Scooby Doo. I own all episodes and movies on DVD (some still on VHS haha), over 10 Scooby stuffed animals, the whole gang in Barbie doll form, clothing, jewelery,etc. Heck even my belly button ring and ring tone are Scooby Doo!!

3. I was born in Grand Bay, New Brunswick in Canada but I have also lived in Aarhus, Denmark and Manchester, England.

4. I am 22 years old and was born on May 20th, 1985 at 2:24am.

5. I am currently in my last semester of my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in English Literature but I’d really like to do something in computers (something online like blog for a living haha) or interior design.

6. I have lots of books about Princess Diana who has been my idol since I was little. I kept a scrapbook of all the newspaper clippings and magazine articles about her before, and since her death. I’d love to marry one of her sons so if any of you can hook me up please do

7. I have 2 black and white cats named Molly and Lola.

8. I used to love acting in high school and would still do it now if I could. I was in my school’s productions of Annie Get Your Gun, The Secret Garden and my first leading role was as Beth in The Best Christmas Pageant Ever.

9. I used to play hockey and miss it ALOT!! I was the captain of my team the last 2 years that I played.

I was cavorting over at Fracas‘ today when I saw her blog rating and I wanted one of my own. I completely expected at least a PG or something because I’m oh-so-badass so imagine my surprise when my blog rating comes up as this!!

As I mentioned yesterday and as you might have noticed today, I have begun work on my Karazhan boss tactics. *Points up* You can click on the “Karazhan Boss Tactics” tab where you will see each boss has it’s own page so it doesn’t seem so cluttered. If you just looked, I only have one page started haha!! Gimme a break!! Anyway it’s a work in progress and will probably take me a week or so to get everything done but I shall endure all of the blogging and tactic-writing hardships for you!

If you have any comments, questions, words of advice, etc please do leave them. I would certainly like to hear your thoughts as I am not just writing these tactics to keep my typing muscles in shape!! Thanks

Woot!! I have just hit my first major blogging milestone!! I was so happy today to look at my site counter and see my 1000th hit on my site!! I know, I know … alot of people get 1000 hits per day … let me basque in my own glory! Thank you, thank you, thank you for coming to check things out and if you’re a repeat visitor thanks even more! I am a happy little bunny today

Now down to the serious stuff. I have been thinking for a while that GirlieGeek needs a little bit of a facelift. Since I cannot afford to actually pay to upgrade my blog, I am left with the WordPress themes (which are lovely, don’t get me wrong). Like this theme, I have the opportunity to personalize it a bit which is wonderful. So I’m going to be testing out some themes to give GirlieGeek a new look. Please feel free to let me know what you think!

Also, I have been noticing while looking at my blog stats that many of the people being directed to my blog are searching for Karazhan tactics. Up to this point I have not included any in my posts, however to please the readership I intend to supply some sexy Kara tactics for all of your sexy Kara needs. I will begin later today and start with Midnight and work my way up doing a separate post for each boss for ease of searchability. Hope the posts will be helpful to some people

I check my blog stats a few times a day just in case there are any strange jumps in activity which I should investigate and I thought I’d share this little gem with you. I guess some people just want a little more from World of Warcraft!

1. The Misanthtropic: Name something (about humanity) you absolutely hate.

I hate people who refuse to show understanding and empathy. Sometimes people have problems that aren’t necessarily something that they can control. Let’s take depression for example. Depression is a legitimate disease. A person cannot help feelings of depression. It drives me absolutely crazy when people cannot understand that depression or some such issue is a valid reason for a person to need a break or at least show some empathy and try to understand.  Not everyone deals with things in the same ways people!!

2. The Meretricious: Expose something or someone that’s phony, fraudulent or bogus.

My hair colour. I admit it. I do not actually have purple hair.

3. The Malcontent: Name something you’re unhappy with.

Being nagged. I do understand that I am living under someone else’s roof, however after living away for so long it’s very difficult to come back and be nagged at all the time. Yes I heard you the first time. And yes I will do as you ask. Get off my back.

4. The Meritorious: Give someone credit for something and name it if you can.

My little sister graduated from high school on Friday. You did it Kate!! I’m so proud of you

5. The Mirror: See something good about yourself and name it.

So far this summer I am getting a pretty sweet tan!! I know, I know … I will have leathery skin in 30 years, but I look good NOW!! In 30 years I doubt that my skin will be my only concern.

6. The Make-Believe: Name something you wish for.

I really wish for a break. Things haven’t been going well lately … a little boost would be wonderful!!

I’m not usually one for asking for money … so that’s why I really don’t want to do that now. However I am going to invite you to head on over to my “blogging for cash” blog to give me a little boost. Money is tight and I desperately need to get back to England ASAP so I’m trying to be a little creative in how I’m going to raise this money so I can patch things up a little.

So right now I’m asking for: (a) a cash donation of $1 million, (b) some traffic over to my other site in hopes someone will see something they like and sign up, (c) your ideas, suggestions, and advice on how I can make the most money in a few weeks time. And yes I am looking for a job haha!!
